2026 Carnival Theme
This year’s Carnival theme is Heroes & Villains and we can’t wait to see all those decorated floats and costumes.
Saturday 16th May 2026; save the date and happy planning for all those Heroes & Villains themed Carnival entries!
2026 Royalty Competition
We are excited to announce the 2026 Carnival Royalty competition!
The competition is free to enter and, once again, is being held in The Angel Hotel. Judging will take place at 2pm and entrants need to register by 1:30pm.
We look forward to welcoming all potential royalty members on Saturday 21st March in the Angel Ballroom.
Carnival Collection Tins
Look out for our collection tins heading out to local shops and businesses in the coming days.
The cost of organising our town’s famous day of celebration is increasing year on year and your generosity really is vital in helping us to keep this much loved event continuing for everyone to enjoy.
Our team will also be visiting local businesses in the coming weeks to offer sponsorship packages for this year’s carnival, as well as opening our sealed bids to be our lead sponsor for carnival 2026.
